Debjyoti Mukherjee

Debjyoti serves as a senior leader in Technology Risk, focusing on governance, risk, and resilience across the financial services sector. He is responsible for driving strategies that strengthen enterprise resilience, manage risk governance, and enable secure adoption of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud services. Over the course of his career, Debjyoti has held leadership roles advising on enterprise risk management, operational resilience, and AI and cloud security transformation.

Deb is an active Senior IEEE member and IEEE Day 2025 Ambassador for Region 7 – Canada. He is an active contributor to the AI and Cloud communities and a recognized Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Research Fellow. Through his work with CSA, he has contributed to key working groups including Cloud Controls Matrix, AI Control Framework, and AI Governance & Compliance. Contributing to the Center for AI Safety, Cloud Security Alliance and NIST Cloud computing standards, publishing research and industry guidance widely adopted across the sector. His involvement has directly influenced best practices for cloud security, business continuity, operational resilience, and AI governance. 

Deb holds a MBA from Leeds University Business School, MSc and BSc in Computer Science and industry certifications including CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, CBCP, and other credentials in cloud and risk management. His combined expertise in technology risk, regulation, and cloud security enables him to bridge business strategy with secure innovation in highly regulated environments.
