It will help readers: Understand correct and preferred terminology (e.g., BYOK, HYOK, PMK, CMEK, etc.) Recognize common key management patterns and responsibility models Interpret and use a Key Responsibility Matrix that clearly assigns responsibilities between the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and the Cloud Service Customer (CSC) This is highly relevant for cloud security architects, compliance teams, and customers evaluating their encryption and key management strategy in cloud settings.
